Manage easily your water EC with Calmag Agent

Growshops.co.uk presents the new Canna product: The Calmag Agent!

Canna has designed this new agent in order to answer a request from growers. Calmag will allow you toincrease the EC of your fresh water in order to harden the water so that your plant can become stronger and healthier.

Normal water has a CE level between 0.4 and 0.7. It contains calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate to stabilize the pH. All Canna products are designed to work best with this type of water.

However, it is imperative to test your water with an EC tester so that your water does not become too hard, as hard water (EC>0.8) contains more calcium and magnesium than the plant can handle. When growing plants, the best way to treat this type of water is to use a reverse osmosis filter.

Benefits of Calmag Agent:

- Fewer deficiencies
- Increased nutrient uptake
- Stronger plants
- Produces better quality flowers
- Highly concentrated, therefore economical
- Fewer nutrients are needed
