Borage, native to Spain, is an annual plant growing to 45 cm. Its bright blue flowers, grouped in clusters, are edible, as are the leaves with their characteristic cucumber taste.
This versatile plant adapts to a variety of soils, preferring those rich in humus.
It thrives in warm climates and temperate zones.
Sowing, from March to July in the open ground, results in emergence in 10 to 15 days.
Harvesting, from May to October, allows you to pick leaves and flowers as and when you need them.
