Organic Annual Flower Mix - Attract beneficials and pollinators

This mix of organic annual flowers is specially designed to attract beneficial insects such as lacewings, hoverflies and ladybugs, as well as pollinators such as hymenoptera and bees. Ideal for creating flower strips or embellishing the edges of vegetable gardens, this mix promotes biodiversity and the health of your garden.

Composition: 21 annuals including Dill, Cornflower, Poppy, Echium, Lavatera, Niella, Marigold, Phacelia, Buckwheat, Marigold, Sunflower, Persian Clover and others.

Preparation and sowing

Soil preparation:

Clean the surface of the soil with a weeder to eliminate weeds.
Practice the false sowing technique by cleaning the plot, then wait 2 to 3 weeks to allow weed seeds to emerge.
Carry out a second cleaning and pass the hook to loosen the first 3 to 4 centimetres of soil, creating a well-refined seedbed.

Sowing :

Broadcast seeds from March to June on well-prepared soil.
Spread the seeds evenly over the surface, then gently pass the hook over them to bury them lightly, as if sowing grass.
Water copiously after sowing and during dry periods. Seed emergence should take between 15 and 20 days.
Sowing density: 20 grams per 10 m²
We have added organic buckwheat hulls to help make sowing less dense.

Cultivation and maintenance

Insect hotels: Place insect hotels close to the plot to provide shelter for beneficials.
Watering: Water generously in summer to maintain plant growth.
