Organic melliferous annual flower mix - Feed and protect your bees

This mix of melliferous annual flowers is specially formulated to be very rich in pollen and nectar, offering a real concentrate of food resources for bees. These flowers help bees boost their metabolism and defenses against external aggression, contributing to the health and biodiversity of your garden.

Mixture characteristics

Height: 60 to 80 cm
Composition: Cornflower, Poppy, Cosmos Sensation, Cosmos Bright Light, Echium, Lupin, Wood Mallow, Single marigold, Nielle des blés, Sunflower, and others.

Flowering: June to October. Spread out the flowering and attractiveness of this mix by staggering your sowings over several locations.

Preparation and sowing

Soil preparation:

Use a rake to loosen the soil surface by 3 or 4 cm.
Clean the soil to remove weeds and prepare it for broadcast sowing.

Sowing :

Broadcast from April to June, distributing seeds evenly over the surface.
Sowing density: 20 grams per 10 m².
For better seed distribution, we have added organic buckwheat hulls.
Water copiously after sowing and during dry periods. Seed emergence should take between 15 and 20 days.

Late sowing:

Late sowing in June is recommended to ensure continuous flowering until the frosts, when flowers are scarce and bees need them most.

Cultivation and care

Watering: Water generously in summer to maintain plant growth.
Insect hotels: Place insect hotels close to the plot to provide shelter for beneficials and pollinators.
