Seeds Giant Italian parsley - La Semence Bio
Italian Giant Parsley, native to Sardinia, is a biennial plant in the Umbelliferae family, adapting to virtually all soils and climates. Its large, flat, dark-green leaves on strong stems (height: 45 cm) make it a distinctive variety.
For optimum growth, Giant Italian Parsley prefers light, humus-rich, cool soil. Sowing can be carried out from February to September, by sowing the seeds 1 cm deep after soaking them in water for 24 hours. Although germination is slow, growth subsequently becomes rapid. Keep the soil moist during emergence, which can vary from 6 to 21 days.
Harvesting can begin 3 months after sowing, from April to November. To harvest, use a knife to cut 3 cm above the collar, and ensure frequent, copious watering for optimum parsley production. Grow this variety to enjoy generous, aromatic leaves in your garden.
