The NFT film is a root mat for use in NFT hydroponic systems or tidal table systems.
In a NFT system, the NFT film is installed at the bottom of the growing tank.
In a tidal table system, it creates a water reserve accessible to the roots between two immersions.
No substrate is needed but for better rooting, you can cover it with clay balls to block the light.
