Grenobloise red Batavia lettuce is a hardy variety with tasty dark-green leaves edged in red. It can be eaten raw in salads or cooked quickly in a steamer or saucepan, as an accompaniment to peas or soup.

Growing instructions
Soil maintenance: Rich, fresh soil, loosened on surface
Sowing: 0.5 cm deep in bucket
Emergence: 6 to 8 days in soil at 10°C

Harvesting: Using a knife, cut the lettuce at the collar to reveal new shoots.
