Description: the Canary melon is oval and bright yellow, from 1.3 to 1.6 kg. Its flesh is firm, creamy-white in color, with fine and fragrant taste notes. Spanish type.

Growing guide

Soil care: soil rich in organic matter.

Sowing: 2 cm deep, in a bucket or directly, in 3-seed stacks at 60 cm between plants and 120 cm between rows.

Emergence: in 7 to 10 days in soil at 25°C.

Watering: regular.

Harvest: to collect when the pecco is detached from the fruit.

Conservation : one week in a cool place.

Origin : the name melon comes from the Greek melo, which means apple. This melon is mainly cultivated in the Iberian Peninsula.
