Description
The Long squash of Nice produces fruits with orange flesh whose end contains seeds. It can be harvested young in zucchini (dark green bark not very thick) and at maturity in squash 10 kg (beige ocher bark very lignified).
Moschata type. Late variety.
Very vigorous and branched plant.
Seeds are contained in the basal end of the fruit (bulge).
Good conservation, 4 to 7 months.

Guide of culture
Before sowing, loosen the soil on 30 cm. Exposure sunny and sheltered from the wind.

Sowing: at 3,5 cm of depth in poquet of 2 to 3 seeds.
Thin out to leave only one plant every 90 cm and 130 cm between rows.

Emergence: in 6 to 8 days in soil at 14°C.

Density of plantation : 90x120 cm.

Sowing and harvesting dates :
- Sowing : March to April (clod nursery), May to July (open field).
- Harvest : September to November, crop cycle : 90-145 days.
