Beet 'Bull's Blood' AB: sweet flavors and decorative foliage

Beet 'Bull's Blood' AB is an old variety distinguished by its round, slightly flattened, dark-red roots. Harvested young, it offers a mild, sweet taste, while its imposing foliage can be eaten like chard ribs or as young shoots. Grown organically, this beet is a perfect choice for gardeners looking for a variety that's both delicious and decorative.

Growing tips:

Harvesting and storage:

Harvest around 3 1/2 months after sowing. To store beet, leave to dry on the ground for a day, then store in a cool, dark place such as a cellar.
