Growing advice:
Perilla or shiso can be sown in spring, under cover or in autumn. We recommend soaking the seeds overnight to facilitate emergence. Sow on a bed of potting soil, tamping lightly and covering with a thin layer of soil, keeping the temperature at 20°C and the potting soil moist. The seedlings can be planted in the garden or kitchen garden, 25 cm apart in all directions, as soon as night frosts are no longer a threat.
