Growing tips

Sowing: Sow seeds from February to April indoors or in a heated greenhouse, in fine sowing compost. Maintain a constant temperature of 20°C to encourage germination.
Transplanting: Transplant when frosts are no longer a concern and plants are 12 to 15 cm tall. Plant in rich, loose, healthy soil, keeping a distance of 50 cm between each plant and 70 cm between rows.
Staking: Put stakes in place before planting to avoid damaging the roots.
Watering: Water abundantly at the base once a week to prevent the development of disease and promote good plant growth.
